Fire pump trucks, water tank trucks, and ambulances are stationed there, and full-scale operations began on January 2.
Until last year, Jindong, Jinjeon, and Jinbuk myeon were all covered by the Samjin 119 Safety Center for emergency dispatches, ensuring citizens' safety. However, with the full-scale operation of the Jinjeon Center starting this January, firefighting services have been strengthened with faster response times in the Jinjeon and Jinbuk myeon areas.
The city has been promoting the construction and relocation of 119 Safety Centers to prepare for disasters that change moment by moment, striving to eliminate underserved areas in firefighting services. Going forward, the city plans to continuously implement safety-related projects to respond swiftly to disasters.
