The Publication Promotion Institute Announces Digital Book Experience Space Support Project Contest... Up to 30 Million KRW Support
The Korea Publication Industry Promotion Agency is calling for participants for the '2023 Digital Book Experience Space Creation Support' project. Applications are accepted via email, and the deadline is the 5th of next month.
Through this project, the Publication Promotion Agency plans to select around 20 institutions and organizations capable of creating and operating digital book experience spaces in local bookstores, libraries, book cafes, transportation means, etc., and provide subsidies of up to 30 million KRW.
If selected as a project target, the space must be completed by the end of August this year, and from September, operation and linked programs and experience events to expand the digital reading culture must be continuously operated for at least five years.

An official from the Publication Promotion Agency stated, "By raising the support limit and providing follow-up support not only to new but also existing recipients, we expect to attract public interest in digital books such as e-books and audiobooks, and expand digital book experience spaces into regional hub complex cultural experience spaces."
