Hyundai Motor Company Sponsors Dedicated Bus for South Korea National Football Team
Hyundai Motor Company announced on the 21st that it will sponsor a dedicated bus to the Korea Football Association (KFA) so that the South Korean national football team can participate in matches in optimal condition.
On the 20th, Hyundai held a vehicle handover ceremony at the Paju NFC (National Football Center) attended by Yu Won-ha, Vice President and Head of Domestic Business Division, J?rgen Klinsmann, head coach of the national football team, Lee Young-pyo, Vice Chairman of the Korea Football Association, and other officials.
Hyundai provided one ‘Universe,’ a premium express bus, to the Korea Football Association. The Universe is a 29-seat bus equipped with numerous safety technologies including ▲Driver Attention Warning (DSW) ▲Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (FCA) ▲Smart Cruise Control (SCC) ▲Steering Haptic Function.
In particular, Hyundai Motor Company held this handover ceremony on the first gathering day of the national football team after the appointment of new head coach Klinsmann, adding significance as a support for a new beginning in Korean football.

Last year, Hyundai provided the Ioniq 5 as a work vehicle to support the Korea Football Association’s transition to eco-friendly mobility.
