‘Changwon Special City Honors Club’ Nameplate Display
Seon Hong-gyu, CEO of Hanshin Construction, has become the first major donor to the Hometown Love Donation Program in Changwon Special City, Gyeongnam.
The city announced on the 20th that CEO Seon donated the maximum amount of 5 million KRW allowed under the Hometown Love Donation Program. Changwon City has established the Changwon Special City Honors Club zone on the first floor of the city hall to honor donors who contribute the annual maximum amount (5 million KRW), displaying nameplates to reflect on the significance of the hometown love donations and express gratitude.
CEO Seon is a native of Bansong-dong, Changwon, graduated from Changwon National University with a degree in law, and earned a master's degree in law from Yonsei University Graduate School of Public Administration. He is currently serving as the CEO of Hanshin Construction and is a prominent entrepreneur from Changwon, focusing on enhancing the management capabilities of Hanshin Construction with his expertise in finance.
CEO Seon said, “I am pleased to make this donation as an opportunity to support my hometown Changwon, which has gained greater status as a special city, and to help all those who have established their lives here in some small way.” He added, “I hope that by participating in this wonderful Changwon! and this great donation!, I can contribute even a little to the development of my hometown Changwon and the revitalization of the local economy.”

We will use the donations generously given to Changwon where they are most needed, transparently disclose how, where, and to what extent the funds are used, and make every effort to ensure the successful establishment of the Changwon City Hometown Love Donation Program.”

The donations given to Changwon will be reviewed by the ‘Changwon City Hometown Love Fund Management Deliberation Committee’ and are planned to be used to support welfare, culture, arts, youth development projects, socially vulnerable groups, and the revitalization of local communities in Changwon.
