Five Family Members Including Young Children Found Dead
Five members of a family were found dead in Incheon, prompting a police investigation.
According to the Michuhol Police Station in Incheon on the 18th, at around 10:37 a.m., a report was received by 112 that "a person had collapsed" in a villa in Michuhol-gu, Incheon.
Police and fire authorities who arrived at the scene discovered five family members dead inside the house, including Mr. A, a man in his 40s, his wife, and their young children.
At the time, Mr. A was found alone in one room, while his wife and three children were found collapsed together in another room.
Their relatives, unable to contact the family, went to the house and upon seeing the collapsed family members, reported it to the police.
The police are focusing on the possibility that Mr. A killed his wife and children with a weapon before taking his own life, and are investigating the circumstances of the incident.
A police official stated, "We plan to request an autopsy of Mr. A and others from the National Forensic Service," and added, "We will look into all aspects, including Mr. A's debt situation."
