Changwon Chamber of Commerce and Industry Provides Support for SMEs to Obtain Green Certification
The Changwon Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Gyeongnam, together with Gyeongsangnam-do, is launching a support project for acquiring green certification targeting small and medium manufacturing enterprises in the Gyeongnam province.
The green certification system is a program that, according to the "Framework Act on Carbon Neutrality and Green Growth for Climate Crisis Response (Carbon Neutrality Framework Act)," grants benefits such as loans, market access marketing, and technology commercialization to companies possessing green technologies that efficiently manage energy and resources and minimize pollutant emissions.
Accordingly, the Changwon Chamber of Commerce and Industry plans to support up to 5 million KRW per company for consulting, testing, and certification costs to help local small and medium manufacturing enterprises obtain green certification.
Eligibility for application includes small and medium enterprises and venture companies located in Gyeongsangnam-do that possess green technologies such as renewable energy, carbon reduction, and clean production. The announcement details can be found on the Gyeongsangnam-do website and the Changwon Chamber of Commerce and Industry website.
