This was a comment from an employee who attended the empathy talk meeting between Park Wansu, Governor of Gyeongnam Province, and the staff held on the 17th.
According to Gyeongnam Province, Governor Park spent time conversing with about 200 employees at grades 6 and 7 in the morning at the provincial government’s main conference hall.
This communication event followed previous meetings with employees at grades 8 and 9, section chiefs, and administrative officers held last year.
The attendees shared the provincial administration philosophy and operational directions with Governor Park.
They handed him sticky notes with questions and suggestions they had wanted to ask the governor or asked questions directly.

“I was able to take on the position of governor by not neglecting my assigned duties, being faithful to my responsibilities, and clearly differentiating myself based on responsibility and obligation.”
He continued, “While serving as governor, I hold the thought that I must keep running tirelessly,” and added, “I will also consider ways to improve the work environment so that employees can work comfortably and to draw out their latent potential.”
An attending employee expressed, “As a public official, I will strive to demonstrate passion and capabilities to positively impact the lives of the residents.”
