Wicomet, a healthcare startup operating emergency response solutions (CEO Jeonghoon Lee), announced on the 17th that it will launch the self-directed cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) learning service "Braden Online." It also signed its first client contract with Severance Hospital.
"Braden Online," a non-face-to-face CPR training program, provides self-directed CPR learning to trainees based on a mobile app and cloud server platform. The program features real-time correction of deficiencies and repetitive learning through training at scheduled reservation times on the mobile app.
Upon launching Braden Online, Wicomet signed its first client contract with Severance Hospital. Professor Hyunsoo Jung, Deputy Director of the Clinical Innovation Center responsible for education at Severance Hospital, stated, "Through close collaboration with Wicomet, we will actively utilize customized self-directed CPR learning tailored to the hospital environment and respond swiftly to emergency situations."
Founded in 2016, Wicomet operates the "Braden Learning Center," an educational institution under the Korean Association of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation, based on specialized CPR education, leading public CPR training efforts.
Currently, Wicomet supports CPR education for the National Fire Agency, Korean Red Cross, institutions under the Ministry of Education, and small and medium-sized enterprises, and recently has been expanding its business scope to Kakao affiliates and domestic startups. Within the first half of the year, it plans to introduce customized Braden Online training program services targeting hospitals and companies.
