Haenam-gun Supports Youth Housing Costs with 100,000 Won Monthly Assistance
Applications Accepted Until April 7, Support Up to 10 Months
Haenam-gun, Jeollanam-do, supports Haenam-type youth housing expenses to stabilize housing and living for low-income youth.
According to the county on the 16th, this is a self-funded project fully supported by the county budget, and 50 people will be recruited by the 7th of next month.
The target is youth aged 18 to 49 residing in Jeonse (with loans under 100 million KRW) or monthly rent housing (under 600,000 KRW) with an address in Haenam-gun, whose income is below 150% of the median income (pre-tax 3.11 million KRW for one person).
Homeowners or those eligible for national or local government housing support programs are excluded.
After verifying the payment of Jeonse or monthly rent, housing expenses of 100,000 KRW per month will be paid semiannually for up to 10 months.
Applications can be made up to three times in a lifetime, and if selected annually, support of up to 3 million KRW over three years is possible.
A county official stated, “We plan to finalize the recipients in April based on the order of lowest household median income and provide support.”
