On the 14th, a joint fire drill was conducted with Soyang 119 assuming a fire outbreak at the Legoland Hotel. The drill was carried out based on a scenario involving an emergency evacuation due to a high-altitude stoppage at the Legoland observatory.
During this joint drill, systematic checks were made on emergency situation reporting, on-site staff task awareness, emergency action guidance, emergency response measures, and manual openings.
Previously, since last month, Legoland completed safety inspections through accredited ride facility inspection agencies both domestic and international, including the Korea Testing Certification (KTC) and Europe’s Westlake.
Lee Soon-gyu, President of Legoland Korea Resort, stated, "Ahead of the 2023 season opening, we have completed domestic and international safety inspections and conducted joint fire drills to strengthen our safety system. Since our main customers are children and families, we will put even greater effort into thorough safety management."
