Accident Suspected Due to Transmission Line Snag During Transmission Tower Wire Transport
A private helicopter crashed in Yeongwol, Gangwon Province, and two passengers were found in a state of cardiac arrest.
At 7:46 a.m. on the 15th, a private helicopter fell on the mountainside near the village hall in Gonggiri, Buk-myeon, Yeongwol-gun. It is reported that there was no secondary damage such as fire caused by the helicopter crash.
According to the police, the helicopter got caught on a power transmission line while transporting wires for the construction of a transmission tower, causing the accident.
