Seven Eleven Boosts Korean Agricultural Products... Purchase Volume Surpasses 100 Tons
Regional Agricultural Pouch Drinks 'Popular'
Seven Eleven announced on the 15th that the project to revitalize the distribution of Korean agricultural products, conducted in collaboration with the Rural Development Administration, is showing positive results.
Seven Eleven is offering five types of pouch drinks under its private brand (PB) Seven Select, using agricultural products from outstanding local farmers: Shine Muscat Ade, Honey Peach Ade, Jeju Cheonhyehyang Ade, Sangju Dried Persimmon Sujeonggwa, and 99.9 Apple Juice. Through this, the total amount of agricultural products purchased from farms for pouch drinks has exceeded 100 tons.
As activities linked with local farmers have received positive responses from consumers, Seven Eleven plans to further strengthen differentiated products using excellent agricultural products this year. To celebrate the launch of Myungin Strawberry Ade and Gujwa Carrot Apple Ade by the end of this month, eco-friendly paper ice cups will be given free of charge to customers who make a purchase.
