Gyeongbuk IT Convergence Industry Technology Institute (Chairman Cho Hyun-il) held a board meeting on the 14th and appointed Yoon Chil-seok, former head of the Gyeongbuk Regional Project Evaluation Group, as the 7th president.
The newly appointed President Yoon Chil-seok is an expert who has led the industrial development of Gyeongbuk, having served in key positions in economics and policy planning, including researcher at the Economic Research Institute of Kyoto University in Japan, head of the Policy Planning Division at Gyeongbuk Technopark, and head of the Gyeongbuk Regional Project Evaluation Group.
The term of the new president is three years, and he is scheduled to be appointed as of April 1.
