217 Dongdaemun-gu Employees Participate in Blood Donation of Love
To Overcome Blood Supply Difficulties, ‘2023 Staff Group Blood Donation’ Held on the 10th at the Multipurpose Auditorium on the 2nd Floor of the District Office
A Total of 217 Employees, Including Temporary Workers and Social Service Agents, Voluntarily Participated in Blood Donation to Share Life
Dongdaemun-gu (District Mayor Lee Pil-hyung) held the ‘2023 Staff Group Blood Donation’ on the 10th at the multipurpose auditorium on the 2nd floor of the district office to overcome difficulties in blood supply caused by COVID-19 and restrictions on blood donations from malaria-affected regions.
The ‘2023 Staff Group Blood Donation’ was organized by the Korean Red Cross Eastern Blood Center and took place from 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM. A total of 217 Dongdaemun-gu district office employees, including temporary workers and social service agents, voluntarily participated in the blood donation, practicing the sharing of life firsthand.
Employees who participated in the blood donation received 12 types of free blood tests, including blood type and hepatitis tests, along with small commemorative gifts such as movie tickets or cultural gift certificates.
Additionally, the district office granted regular learning hours and special leave to encourage active participation from employees.
