Naver Says "No Decision Made on Consortium With Uber to Acquire Baemin"
NAVER announced in a disclosure on the 19th that "no specific decisions have been made" regarding reports that it is forming a consortium with Uber to acquire Baemin (Baedal Minjok).
The previous day, some media outlets reported that NAVER and Uber intend to form a consortium in an 8:2 ratio to acquire Baemin.
Through a clarification disclosure regarding rumors or media reports, NAVER stated, "We are reviewing a variety of options to strengthen our business competitiveness, but nothing has been specifically decided at this time."
