Professor Jo was honored with this award for his outstanding leadership as an educator during academic research, significantly contributing to the development of basic formative arts and the nurturing of next-generation research talents.
The Korean Basic Formative Arts Society was established in 1999 to establish academic status centered on basic formative arts related to all fields of art and design and to realize creative formative arts in society. Currently, about 8,900 members are active.
