The Central Disease Control Headquarters reported that as of midnight, 10,335 new COVID-19 cases were confirmed, bringing the total to 30,615,522.
The number of new cases decreased by 555 from the previous day (10,890). Compared to a week ago on the 3rd (10,408), it decreased by 73 cases.
Among the new cases, 10 were imported from overseas.
The number of critically ill patients hospitalized increased by 3 to 146 compared to the previous day. The number of critically ill patients has remained in the 100s for 19 consecutive days.
