According to the county on the 9th, starting with the first stage of elementary education (grades 1 and 2) in 2021, followed by the second stage (grades 3 and 4) in 2022, and the third stage (grades 5 and 6) in 2023, those who complete the courses are expected to receive an elementary school diploma around February next year.
Currently, the Women Farmers and Fishermen Center operates a broader lifelong learning program by offering six additional courses, including not only the Korean literacy class recognized for elementary education but also English classes, Korean traditional dance, singing classes, and silver dance.
Governor Kim San said, “I am pleased to open the path of learning for our mothers who could not complete their education during difficult times,” and added, “We will spare no support to ensure that all mothers can study healthily and happily and obtain their elementary school diplomas.”
