50-Year-Old Man Arrested for Ignoring 'No Trespassing' and Causing Disturbance at Ex-Partner's Residence
The Yeongdeungpo Police Station in Seoul announced on the 9th that they arrested a man in his 50s, Mr. A, on charges of stalking after he caused a disturbance by visiting his ex-partner despite being subject to a restraining order.
Mr. A was arrested on the 7th at around 1:45 PM for causing a disturbance by knocking on the door and shouting at the home of his ex-partner, Ms. B, located in Mullae-dong, Yeongdeungpo-gu.
Ms. B reported the incident, and although Mr. A fled, he was caught by the police within 30 minutes.
Mr. A had previously caused a disturbance in front of Ms. B's house on the 3rd, during which time he was prohibited from approaching or communicating with her.
The police had requested detention for Mr. A at that time, but the court dismissed the request. It is known that Mr. A visited the woman's home during that period.
In addition, a total of three stalking reports have been filed against Mr. A.
