"Leisure Experts and Spring Travel" Jeju Shilla Hotel Launches Experience Program
Enjoy Jeju Canola Flowers and Cherry Blossoms 'Feel the Spring'
Observe Over 120 Plant Species at Sumbi Garden with 'Sumbi Exploration Team'
Jeju Shilla Hotel announced on the 9th that it will newly introduce the experience programs 'Feel the Spring' and 'Sumbi Exploration Team' with leisure experts to fully enjoy spring, when many visitors flock to the area.
Feel the Spring is an experience program that guides visitors to famous spots to enjoy Jeju's spring. Last fall, the Feel the Season program led guests to silver grass and autumn foliage spots, and in winter to the winter sea. This spring, it will guide customers to spring flower spots. Starting with the canola flowers that have currently dyed all over Jeju, for mid-March, forsythia and azaleas are expected to be in full bloom, followed closely by the peak cherry blossom season. Visiting between mid-March and April allows you to enjoy Jeju covered in flowers.
Jeju Shilla Hotel's leisure experts guide customers to the best locations to appreciate the scenery harmonized with flowers according to each flower's peak bloom period. In March, they plan to visit Daewangsucheon Yerae Ecological Park in Seogwipo. Located in Sangye-dong, Seogwipo City, Daewangsucheon Yerae Ecological Park is renowned for its outstanding natural scenery and coastal views, considered the highlight of Olle Trail Course 8. Visitors can enjoy a quiet forest path while admiring Jeju's representative spring flowers such as plum blossoms, canola flowers, and cherry blossoms, and at the end of the trail, they can encounter the vast Jeju sea.
The Feel the Spring program runs from March to May, every Monday to Friday from 3 PM for two hours. Participation is limited to customers of the 'The Spring' package, which includes the benefit of enjoying craft beer at the terrace garden with beautiful night views on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, any pre-booked guests can participate after making a reservation.
Jeju Shilla Hotel also operates the Sumbi Exploration Team program for child guests in the 44,000㎡ 'Sumbi Garden,' which is lush with palm trees and various Jeju trees throughout the four seasons. The Sumbi Exploration Team is a nature experience program where children walk through Sumbi Garden with leisure experts, directly observing flowers, grass, trees, fruits, and more. They listen to explanations about various plants from the leisure experts and experience plant collecting, photography, and drawing. Each child explores the garden in their own way and can create a 'My Own Exploration Workbook' using their collected items and photos.
