Opening of the 'Gonggong Fashion Show Venue' Accessible to Everyone
Seoul City will open a 500-pyeong-scale complex support facility to revitalize the stagnant Dongdaemun commercial district and enhance the competitiveness of small fashion businesses. It is a ‘Fashion Industry Growth Support’ space where everything from sales to live broadcasting and fashion show hosting is possible.
Seoul City announced on the 9th that it will newly transform the existing Seoul Fashion Creation Studio (22 Majang-ro, Jung-gu, DDP Fashion Mall) into a public fashion show venue accessible to beauty and fashion designers, shopping mall operators, small business owners, students, and others, and will begin operation from the 15th.

View original imageThe newly configured space will operate as a 500-pyeong (approximately 1609㎡) complex facility. This space features new functions including an open integrated area where ▲ fashion shows and ▲ pop-up stores can be held simultaneously, a studio capable of operating ▲ real-time broadcast sales (live commerce), and meeting rooms for 6 to 20 people.
The city will announce the facility opening and hold fashion shows for four days from the 15th to the 18th in line with the Seoul Fashion Week schedule, which attracts a large number of visitors. The events include the Hi Seoul Fashion Show and DDF, the first Dongdaemun merchant fashion show in collaboration with Jung-gu Office (Buyer Lounge).
