Geochang-gun, Additional Applications Accepted for Rural Convergence Industry Support Recipients
Geochang-gun, Gyeongnam Province, will accept additional applications for the 2023 Rural Convergence Industry Priming Project support recipients until the 20th.
Through this additional application, the county plans to provide the remaining project funds of 108 million KRW out of the original 227 million KRW allocated for support in three areas of the Priming Project.
The project targets agricultural management entities (farmers and agricultural corporations) that use and process more than 50% local agricultural products. Support is provided in three areas: ▲processing startup ▲consulting ▲exhibition booth rental fees, including construction, expansion, and modernization of processing factories, new product development consulting, and participation fees for exhibitions.
Detailed project guidelines and application documents can be found on the county office website announcement, and applications can be submitted to the Agricultural Technology Center’s Happy Rural Division or the economic industry department of the town or township office by the 20th.

Since 2019, Geochang-gun has been promoting the Rural Convergence Industry Support Project as its own initiative, supporting a total of 31 locations with 703.36 million KRW from 2019 to 2022, contributing to the establishment of a convergence industry base for farmers and the improvement of farm income.
