"Burning Trash"... 12 Helicopters Deployed to Extinguish Wildfire in Sancheong Hillside
At around 12:35 PM on the 7th, a fire presumed to have been caused by garbage burning broke out in a mountain area in Chahwang-myeon, Sancheong-gun, Gyeongnam, and was extinguished after 2 hours and 29 minutes.
Forest authorities urgently deployed 12 wildfire suppression helicopters, 33 firefighting vehicles and equipment, and 327 firefighters, extinguishing the fire around 6:15 PM.

The Korea Forest Service is investigating the exact scale of damage and the cause of the fire, believing that a man in his 40s started the fire while burning garbage.
