Gumi City will host the 41st Korea Bowling Association President's Cup National Men and Women Bowling Championships, with over 1,300 athletes participating, from March 9 to March 27, spanning 19 days.
Organized and hosted by the Korea Bowling Association, this tournament will take place at four bowling centers, including the Gumi City Complex Sports Center, featuring competitions among elementary, middle, and high school divisions, as well as university and general divisions.
The events include singles, doubles, triples, and five-player team competitions, as well as all-events and masters categories. Based on the results, privileges will be granted for selection to the 2024 youth and national representative teams, which is expected to spark intense competition among the athletes.
With approximately 1,300 athletes, officials, and parents visiting Gumi City for this event, it is anticipated to generate an economic ripple effect worth around 2 billion KRW for the local economy.
