60-Year-Old Arrested for Wielding a Weapon Against Husband During Marital Dispute
Emergency Arrest of a Woman in Her 60s on Attempted Murder Charges
[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Seoyul] A woman who swung a weapon at her husband in a fit of rage during a domestic quarrel was apprehended by the police.
On the 7th, the Gwanak Police Station in Seoul urgently arrested a woman in her 60s, identified as Ms. A, on suspicion of attempted murder and is currently investigating.
Ms. A is accused of wielding a weapon at her husband, Mr. B, also in his 60s, at their home in Gwanak-gu around 8:50 a.m. the previous day.
Police, responding to a family report, promptly arrested Ms. A at the scene. Mr. B sustained injuries to his neck and was transported to the hospital, but his life is not in danger.
