The Grimm Entertainment Unveils Twenty New Works This Year Including 'Chetamja'
'Castle' and 'Insaeng Jonmang' Present Follow-up Works
Webtoon studio Thegrim Entertainment announced on the 3rd that it will release about twenty new works in various genres this year. Yoo Hobin, Head of Content, stated, "We will solidify the position of our core content, action works, while expanding genres to provide more fun and freshness."
The most anticipated work is "Chetamja," which is being developed into a webtoon and video production in collaboration with Dexter Pictures. It is an action adventure that reinterprets historical facts centered on a special unit in the Joseon Dynasty. It will be released in June. "Chokbeop Sonyeon" will be serialized starting next month. It is a school action work criticizing the issue of perpetrators who are not punished. "Chokbeop Sonyeon" refers to minors aged 10 to under 14 who, as minors under criminal law, receive protective measures such as community service or juvenile detention instead of punishment.
Thegrim Entertainment will also present sequels to existing popular works. "Castle 2" by writer Jeongyeon will be serialized starting this month. It is the story of a killer who chooses to sleep with the enemy. "Insaeng Jonmang" by writer Park Taejun, which was popular in 2020, will return in December. Park will also release a fantasy new work that he has been preparing for a long time within the year.
