LetsRun Park Busan·Gyeongnam Announces March Horse Racing Schedule
Korea Racing Authority's LetsRun Park Busan·Gyeongnam announced the horse racing schedule for a total of 56 races held in Busan and Gyeongnam in March 2023.
In March, a total of 56 races will be held over 8 days across 4 weeks in Busan and Gyeongnam. Every Friday, 8 races will be held in Busan and Gyeongnam along with 1 relay race from Jeju. On Sundays, 11 relay races from Seoul and 6 races in Busan and Gyeongnam will take place.
The first race on Fridays starts at 11:00 AM, and the first race on Sundays starts at 10:35 AM. The last race on both Fridays and Sundays begins at 6:00 PM.
On the 19th, the first graded race of 2023, the ‘Gyeongnam Sinmun Cup’ (Korean 3-year-olds, 6th race, 1400m), will be held at LetsRun Park Busan·Gyeongnam.
This race, marking its 16th edition this year, serves as a preliminary for the Triple Crown that determines the best Korean 3-year-old horse. Priority entry rights will be granted based on the ranking points from the ‘Gyeongnam Sinmun Cup’ and the ‘Sports Seoul Cup,’ which make up the Triple Crown and Triple Tiara this year.
Starting in March, the ‘Drive-Thru Betting Zone’ will resume operation for customers who wish to place bets individually from their vehicles. Drive-thru betting can be reserved and used through the ‘Seat Purchase’ tab in the Korea Racing Authority’s ‘Electronic Card’ app.
