Gyeongbuk Province Targets Western China Market... Launches Marketing in Chongqing, Chengdu, and Kunming
Collaboration with Small and Medium Business Corporation
Recruiting Food and Cosmetics Specialty Product Participating Companies
Gyeongbuk Province has entered the market development of western China.
On the 2nd, Gyeongbuk Province announced that it will recruit companies to participate in new market development targeting Chongqing, Chengdu, and Kunming in western China from the 6th to the 13th of this month in cooperation with the Small and Medium Business Corporation.
This project is promoted overseas through cooperation between the Gyeongbuk Province Shanghai Representative Office and the Small and Medium Business Corporation Chongqing Global Business Center to help export SMEs enter overseas markets.
Focusing on western China, various marketing activities will be conducted both online and offline in cooperation with local governments such as Chongqing, including △ promotional activities △ participation in promising exhibitions △ entry into central commercial districts and influencer marketing △ buyer product briefings △ and one-on-one consultations with local buyers through local visits in the second half of the year.
Despite the COVID-19 pandemic last year, 11 companies from Gyeongbuk participated in this project, achieving results such as three companies including Freshbell signing export agreements worth about 300 million KRW over two years with local distribution networks.
This year, 15 companies will be recruited to introduce Korean products to the untapped potential market of western China and to expand inter-country exchanges.
Detailed information on eligibility and application methods can be found in the notice “2023 Gyeongsangbuk-do Chongqing Online and Offline Marketing Support Project” on the Small and Medium Business Corporation website, and applications are accepted via email.
