'Jeon Gwang-ryeol' Expo Ambassador Appointment Ceremony
The Organizing Committee of the Gyeongnam Sancheong World Traditional Medicine Anti-Aging Expo held a "County Residents' Resolution Rally for Expo Success" at the Sancheong Culture and Arts Center on the 27th, 200 days before the Expo.
About 410 county residents, including Lee Seunghwa, the co-chairman of the organizing committee and county governor, attended the rally to commemorate the 410th anniversary of the publication of Donguibogam.
The rally proceeded in the order of reporting on Expo promotion status and detailed execution plans, reading of the resolution, appointment ceremony of ambassador Jeon Gwangryeol, Expo success resolution performance, and congratulatory performances.

View original imageThe organizing committee explained the overall Expo to enhance residents' understanding and encourage active participation. One representative each from Sancheong County’s lodging and dining industries read the resolution to reaffirm their determination for the successful hosting of the Expo.
Additionally, actor Jeon Gwangryeol was appointed as the Sancheong Expo ambassador and presented with a plaque. The event included an LED hand-touch performance, wish paper writing, and a large drum performance titled "Sound of Victory" to pledge the successful hosting of the Expo.
Governor Lee said, “I am honored that this event created a platform for residents-centered resolution,” and added, “We will do our best to make this Expo a community-driven event by harmonizing and communicating with local residents over the next 200 days.”

The 2023 Sancheong World Traditional Medicine Anti-Aging Expo, a government-approved international event co-hosted by the Ministry of Health and Welfare, Gyeongsangnam-do, and Sancheong County, will be held from September 15 to October 19 (35 days) at Donguibogam Village in Sancheong County, Gyeongnam, under the theme “Promise of the Future, Traditional Medicine in the World.”
