Resolution of the Cabinet Meeting on the Promulgation of the "Government Organization Act"
The Ministry of the Interior and Safety announced that the promulgation of the "Government Organization Act," which was approved by the National Assembly, was resolved at the Cabinet meeting on the 28th.
This government reorganization was promoted to implement key national philosophies such as achieving first-class veterans affairs befitting the nation's dignity and realizing a global pivotal state.
The Ministry of the Interior and Safety plans to meticulously design the subordinate organizations and personnel of the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs and the Overseas Koreans Office, revise related laws such as the organizational system, and promptly complete the necessary follow-up measures for the launch of the ministries.

Han Chang-seop, Vice Minister of the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, stated, "This first government reorganization under the Yoon Suk-yeol administration focuses on inheriting the proud spirit of veterans affairs and more systematically protecting the rights and interests of overseas Koreans residing around the world," adding, "We will promote follow-up measures in consultation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs, and others to ensure that the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs and the Overseas Koreans Office, scheduled to launch in June, can faithfully perform their roles."
