Future Content Industry Policies Discovered by Youth
Launch of Youth Policy Council by Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Korea Creative Content Agency
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Creative Content Agency launched a Youth Policy Council at the CKL Enterprise Support Center on the 24th. This organization enables young people in the content industry to communicate with each other and develop policies. It lays the foundation for proposing youth policies and utilizing them in the development of new projects. The committee consists of 5 entrepreneurs and creators aged 19 to 39 working in the fields of video, storytelling, music, games, and performance, as well as 10 prospective workers. A representative from the Korea Creative Content Agency explained, "More than 70% of the content industry workforce is already young people," adding, "This council is significant in discovering future content industry policies." They also stated, "We will support regular attendance at expert lectures to help develop high-quality policies."
