View original imageGyeonggi Province has supported a total of 360 million KRW to low-income residents in the province over the past three years through the 'Real Estate Brokerage Fee Support Project.'
The Real Estate Brokerage Fee Support Project, introduced in January 2020, provides up to 300,000 KRW in brokerage fees paid for the sale or lease contracts of houses priced at 200 million KRW or less, targeting recipients of the National Basic Livelihood Security in the province.
Through this project, the province supported 1,851 households with 360 million KRW from 2020 to 2022, and this year, it secured a budget of 100 million KRW, supporting 98 households with 19 million KRW in January alone.
In particular, the 98 cases of real estate brokerage fee support in January this year are more than three times the number in January of the previous year. The province expects the budget to be exhausted early by June this year if this trend continues.
