LG Electronics has been expanding the existing one-year parental leave to two years since last year to support employees in balancing work and family life. Additionally, family-friendly policies such as supporting reduced working hours during childcare periods are being implemented.
Efforts are also being made to secure female talent. LG Electronics conducts an online recruitment briefing called ‘LG DAY’ targeting female university undergraduates and participates in job fairs organized by the Korean Women Engineers Association.
