PM Parking Culture Promotion and Local Commercial Area Revitalization Expected
On the 24th at 11 a.m., Ulsan City held a 'Smart Personal Mobility Device Exclusive Parking Lot (PM Station) Introduction Business Agreement Ceremony' in the situation room on the 7th floor of the city hall main building to realize an intelligent city.
About 10 officials, including Lee Sang-chan, Director of the Construction and Housing Bureau of the city, and Woo Ram-chan, Executive Director of LG Electronics, attended the ceremony.
This agreement was prepared for Ulsan City and LG Electronics to closely cooperate in introducing the 'Smart Personal Mobility Device Exclusive Parking Lot (PM Station)' and exchanging information and joint projects to establish a proper parking culture for personal mobility devices and revitalize the local commercial district.
According to the agreement, LG Electronics will be responsible for tasks such as building the system necessary for introducing the personal mobility device exclusive parking lot (PM Station) and partnerships to revitalize the local commercial district, while Ulsan City will handle administrative support and public guidance and promotion.
Lee Sang-chan, Director of the Construction and Housing Bureau, said, "With the introduction of the smart personal mobility device exclusive parking lot (PM Station), an environment where citizens can conveniently use personal mobility devices (PM) will be created, and it is expected to contribute to the revitalization of the local commercial district."

Ulsan City plans to promote safety rules, conduct safety education linked to various events (festivals), install parking zones, revise related ordinances, and promote projects to guarantee the mobility rights of residents in rural and fishing villages to prevent safety accidents and activate the use of personal mobility devices.
