Hyosung TNC Showcases Numerous Eco-Friendly Fibers at PID
Joint Participation with 18 Partner Companies, the Largest Ever, at Daegu EXCO from 2nd to 4th Next Month
Hyosung TNC will showcase a large number of eco-friendly fibers at the 2023 Daegu International Textile Expo (Preview in Daegu·PID), the largest domestic textile industry exhibition, held at Daegu EXCO from the 2nd to the 4th of next month.
Participating on the largest scale among domestic companies, Hyosung TNC will operate exhibition booths themed around eco-friendliness, including the ▲Eco-friendly Spandex Zone ▲Eco-friendly Nylon Zone ▲The North Face Collaboration Zone, displaying various fashion products and fabrics made with recycled and bio fibers.
In the Eco-friendly Spandex Zone, fabrics made with ▲‘Creora Bio-based,’ the world’s first bio spandex made from corn extract, and ▲‘Creora Regen,’ a recycled spandex made from 100% recycled waste, will be showcased. Additionally, the Hyosung TNC Fashion Design Center (FDC) will introduce outerwear, innerwear, and other garments directly produced using ‘Creora Bio-based’ and ‘Creora Regen.’
In the Eco-friendly Nylon Zone, fabrics made with ▲Regen Ocean nylon fiber recycled from discarded fishing nets in the ocean, and ▲high-strength recycled nylon fibers Regen Robic and Regen Ocean Robic will be presented. Furthermore, backpack products from global brands such as Osprey and Mystery Ranch, which use Regen Robic, will also be exhibited.
Particularly, the collaboration with The North Face is expected to attract attention. In The North Face Collaboration Zone, visitors can see over 30 eco-friendly fashion products such as T-shirts, sweatshirts, and sweatpants made with Hyosung TNC’s representative eco-friendly fiber ‘Regen Korea.’ ‘Regen Korea’ is a recycled polyester fiber made by recycling transparent PET bottles collected domestically by Hyosung TNC.
At this PID, Hyosung TNC has set up a joint booth with a record 18 partner companies. Hyosung TNC is leading coexistence in the textile industry by providing partner companies with free fabric and product exhibition space as well as sales and consultation areas within the exhibition booth.

Hyosung Chairman Cho Hyun-joon emphasized, "We will continue to invest in research and development of next-generation eco-friendly fibers, including recycled fibers and bio/biodegradable fibers," adding, "As a company leading the global trend of eco-friendly fibers, we will expand the base of the eco-friendly fashion market together with our partners."
