Yanolja Launches Membership for 'Global Unicorn Center' Established in UAE
First Domestic Member Company Inducted
Accelerating Digital Transformation of Local Leisure Industry
Yanolja announced on the 23rd that it has joined the 'Global Unicorn Center' established by the United Arab Emirates (UAE) government as the first domestic member company.
The UAE government unveiled the Global Unicorn Center project at the World Government Summit (WGS) held in Dubai on the 15th and expressed its ambition to produce 30 unicorn companies in the Dubai region within this year. Members of the Unicorn Center will be provided with education and services necessary for entering the Dubai market, and companies that successfully enter will also be supported with the issuance of the 'Golden Visa,' which corresponds to permanent residency in Dubai. The educational programs required for incubation will be managed by the Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business (CKGSB) of the Li Ka Shing Foundation, which has produced 35 unicorn companies over the past five years.
Yanolja plans to strengthen its global competitiveness by utilizing local networks in Dubai as well as the MENA (Middle East and North Africa) and GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council) regions. It also announced plans to develop solutions specialized for the Middle East region to expand its solution license customers and lead the digital transformation of the local leisure industry.
