Professor Park Doo-jin of Dongmyeong University Receives Appreciation Plaque from Korea Marine Environment Management Corporation
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Duyul] Professor Park Dujin of the Department of Port Logistics Systems at Dongmyung University recently received a plaque of appreciation from the Korea Marine Environment Management Corporation (KOEM) for his contributions to the stable supply of tug boat services at ports nationwide and the establishment of a cooperative system between the private and public sectors.
A tug boat is a vessel that assists large ships during their arrival and departure by helping with docking and undocking.
Professor Park participated as the principal investigator in the first and second phases of the tug boat supply and demand plans by port in 2019 and 2022, respectively, contributing to the establishment of appropriate tug boat supply plans for each port in South Korea.
