China says "No right to order" in response to US warning "Do not supply weapons to Russia"
[Asia Economy Reporter Jeon Jinyoung] China confronted the United States, which warned about the possibility of weapons support to Russia, saying it has "no right to give orders."
Wang Wenbin, spokesperson for the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, was asked at a regular briefing on the 20th about U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken's remarks that China is considering providing ammunition and other weapons to Russia. Wang responded, "It is not China but the United States that continuously supplies weapons," adding, "The United States has no right to give orders to China."
Wang further emphasized, "We have never accepted the United States telling China what to do regarding China-Russia relations."
He also stated, "China's policy toward Ukraine can be summed up as advocating reconciliation and urging peace," adding, "In the end, the international community knows very well who is instigating the fighting and encouraging confrontation."
