Gwangju Dong-gu Social Economy Enterprises and Large Corporations, Collaborative Win-Win Partnership Efforts
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] Dong-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City is attracting attention by taking the first step to revitalize the local economy through win-win collaboration between social economy enterprises in the district and large corporations.
On the 20th, Lim Taek, head of Dong-gu, announced that he recently held a win-win agreement ceremony between SK Broadband and the youth preliminary social enterprise Sijeom in the lobby of SK Broadband's Gwangju office building, agreeing to unite their efforts to realize social value.
Through this agreement, the three organizations will mutually cooperate on ▲providing cafe operation space at low cost and activating the space ▲creating youth jobs and win-win collaboration with Dong-gu social economy enterprises ▲providing comprehensive administrative services related to project implementation.
Earlier, since August last year, Dong-gu selected the preliminary social enterprise Sijeom as the final candidate through a recruitment announcement for social economy enterprises in the district as part of SK Broadband's social value creation project.
Taking this opportunity, Sijeom has been operating the cafe ‘Dino’ since early this month, located in the lobby on the first floor of SK Broadband's Gwangju office building. Dong-gu plans to provide multifaceted administrative service support for win-win collaboration between social economy enterprises and large corporations in the future.
Sijeom is a company established in June 2021 with the goal of independence and job creation for young artists. It is promoting various businesses such as selling distinctive goods like interior posters using copyrights of young artists and operating a cafe.
