KOTRA Donates 10 Million KRW for Disaster Relief in Turkey
Donation of Relief Supplies Prepared Through Employee Contributions
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Pyeonghwa] The Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) announced on the 19th that it will donate a total of 10 million KRW in cash and relief supplies to help the victims of the earthquake in Turkey.
From the 14th to the 17th, KOTRA held a fundraising event targeting its employees in collaboration with the KOTRA Labor Union to collect donations. The funds will be delivered to Turkey through the Korean Red Cross.

KOTRA also collected emergency relief supplies from its employees. These items will be delivered to earthquake victims through the Embassy of Turkey in Korea.

Yoo Jung-yeol, President of KOTRA, said, “The people of Turkey are suffering from an unprecedented disaster,” and added, “I hope the donations collected by KOTRA employees will be delivered to Turkey and contribute to the recovery from the earthquake damage.”
