Korean Film Festival Held in Shanghai After 9 Years... 15 Films Including 'Hunt' Screened
[Asia Economy Beijing=Special Correspondent Kim Hyunjung] The Korean Film Festival is being held in Shanghai, China for the first time in 9 years.
On the 17th, the Korea Film Council's China Office announced that to promote film exchange between Korea and China, from this day until the 25th, the Korea Film Council and the Korean Cultural Center in Shanghai are hosting the 'KOFIC Korean Film Festival (Shanghai)'.
At the Korean Cultural Center in Shanghai, the festival will showcase a total of 15 films starting with the opening film 'Hunt', followed by 'Broker', 'Tap', 'Crime City 2', 'Mogadishu', and others. After the screenings in Shanghai, the Korean Film Festival will be held in Beijing in April with the same program.
Alongside the film screenings, the photo exhibition 'KOREAN ACTORS 200', featuring portraits of 200 representative Korean actors taken by the late photographers Kim Joongman and Ahn Seongjik, will open and run until the 16th of next month.

Jung Minyoung, head of the Korea Film Council's China Office, stated, "We expect this Korean Film Festival to spark Chinese people's interest in Korean films," and added, "To continuously introduce Korean films, we are preparing various events at the dedicated screening room established within the Korean Cultural Center in Beijing."
