CU, Website Access Blocked... "Under Attack by Chinese Hacker Group"

CU blocked access to its official website after being attacked by a Chinese hacker group.
According to industry sources on the 16th, the Chinese hacker group Xiao Qiying attacked five domestic servers, including CU. A CU official stated, "Suspicious signs of hacking attempts were detected, and an investigation has been requested and is currently underway."
After recognizing the hacking attempt, CU immediately suspended the operation of its official website. Currently, the Cyber Investigation Unit of the National Police Agency and the Korea Internet & Security Agency are conducting investigations related to the hacking.

Previously, Xiao Qiying hacked 12 academic institutions, including the Korean Language Society and the Korean Archaeological Society, last month and carried out web page defacement attacks.
