Mirae Asset Securities Lists 175 New Stock Warrant Securities
[Asia Economy Reporter Son Seonhee] Mirae Asset Securities announced on the 16th that it has newly listed 175 stock warrant securities (ELW) items.
ELWs are securities that grant the right to buy or sell at a predetermined price linked to individual stock prices or stock indices. To trade ELWs, one must complete online education at the Korea Financial Investment Education Institute and meet a basic deposit requirement of 15 million KRW (for new customers). However, these products may incur principal losses due to asset price fluctuations and credit rating downgrades, and such losses are borne by the investor.
