On the 16th, the Gangbuk Police Station in Seoul announced that resident A (38) died due to a fire that occurred in a rooftop room on the third floor of a multi-family house located in Suyu-dong, Gangbuk-gu, Seoul the previous day.
The fire broke out around 11:01 PM the previous day in the rooftop room. The fire was extinguished after about 1 hour and 10 minutes. Six residents evacuated on their own. There were no casualties other than A.
