Kumho Petrochemical Provides $300,000 Support to Earthquake-Affected Turkey and Syria
Donated to the Korean Red Cross... Used for Local Disaster Recovery
[Asia Economy Reporter Choi Seoyoon] Kumho Petrochemical Group announced on the 16th that it will donate $300,000 (approximately 383 million KRW) in relief funds to T?rkiye, which recently suffered significant damage from a strong earthquake.
The relief funds will be delivered through the Korean Red Cross. They are intended to be used for local rescue operations and damage recovery efforts in T?rkiye and Syria.
Separately from the company-level donation, Kumho Petrochemical Group employees will voluntarily continue activities such as personal donations to support the affected areas.
Kumho Petrochemical supplies synthetic rubber for tires such as SBR, SSBR, and HBR, as well as synthetic resins including polystyrene (PS), ABS, EPS, and PPG to tire, home appliance, and furniture customers in T?rkiye.

T?rkiye ranked 7th in Kumho Petrochemical's export revenue by country last year. It is a major export market, accounting for about 4.9% of total overseas sales.
