Scott "I am the PGA Tour Player Chairman"
Participation as a Director in the PGA Tour Policy Board Meeting in January Next Year
Adam Scott (Australia), who was rumored to join LIV Golf, has been elected as the PGA Tour Players' Chairman.
On the 14th (local time), the PGA Tour announced, "Scott has been elected as the chairman of the PGA Tour Players' Committee, which consists of 16 players." The chairman of the Players' Committee is elected by player votes. The Players' Committee provides opinions and advice from players on the PGA Tour Policy Board and the Commissioner's policies and administration.
Scott will serve as a director on the PGA Tour Policy Board for three years starting January next year. Currently, the PGA Tour Policy Board includes Rory McIlroy (Northern Ireland), Peter McNulty, Webb Simpson, and Patrick Cantlay (all from the United States) as directors.
