Recruiting Startups for Entrepreneurship Platform 'Maru' Residency
Maximum 1 Year and 6 Months Residency Period
Use of Office Space and Various Auxiliary Facilities
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Asan Nanum Foundation (Chairman Jang Seok-hwan) announced on the 15th that it is recruiting startups for the first half of the year for the entrepreneurship platform 'Maru'. Maru is located on Yeoksam-ro (Entrepreneur Street), Gangnam-gu, Seoul. Following Maru180, which opened in April 2014, Maru360, additionally opened in November 2021, provides comprehensive solutions including infrastructure, networks, and education necessary for startups.
The startups selected through this recruitment will move into Maru180 and Maru360 in April and receive various benefits including office space provision. Considering the startup ecosystem atmosphere, which has faced difficulties in securing office space and fixed expenses since this year, the maximum residency period has been extended from one year to one year and six months.
Office space is allocated according to the number of team members, and office furniture necessary for work is provided together. The cost for using the office space is only the minimum actual expense required for facility management.
