Damyang County Council Closes the 317th Extraordinary Session
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Chunsu] The Damyang County Council in Jeollanam-do announced that it concluded the schedule of the 317th extraordinary session, the first session of the year, on the 10th.
During this extraordinary session, there was a briefing on the status of the local education environment improvement support project, and each standing committee listened to the 2023 major work plans of the relevant departments, affiliated organizations, and town and township offices.
Among the 15 ordinance proposals (11 initiated by council members, 4 by the executive branch), including one ordinance proposal on partial amendment of the "Damyang-gun Ordinance on the Restriction of Livestock Farming" which was deferred, 11 were approved as originally proposed, and 3, including the partial amendment of the "Damyang-gun Ordinance on the Promotion of Senior Welfare," were approved with modifications.
