A man in his 30s wearing an electronic anklet in Incheon kills convenience store employee and flees
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Hyesook] A man in his 30s wearing an electronic monitoring device (electronic anklet) in Incheon killed a convenience store employee and fled.
According to the Gyeyang Police Station in Incheon on the 9th, a customer found a male employee in his 30s, Mr. A, bleeding and collapsed at a convenience store in Gyeyang-gu, Incheon, at around 11:41 PM the previous day, and reported it to 112.
Mr. A was found collapsed in front of the convenience store's storage room and was already deceased at the time of discovery.
Based on the convenience store CCTV and other evidence, the police believe Mr. B (32), who was wearing the electronic anklet, stabbed Mr. A with a weapon at around 10:52 PM the previous day and killed him, and they are pursuing him.
About an hour after the crime, at around 11:58 PM, Mr. B was found near an apartment in Hyoseong-dong, Gyeyang-gu, damaging the electronic anklet, and four minutes later, he fled by taking a K5 taxi nearby.
Mr. B had been wearing the electronic anklet due to a previous robbery offense.
The Western Branch of the Incheon Probation Office released Mr. B’s description and photo, requesting citizens to provide information. Mr. B is 170 cm tall, weighs 75 kg, and was wearing black top and bottom clothing.
