Ministry of Education Holds Discussion on Outstanding Achievements of University Innovation Support Project
[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Byung-don] The Ministry of Education, together with the National Research Foundation of Korea and the University Innovation Support Project General Council, will hold the 2022 University Innovation Forum over two days on the 9th and 10th at BEXCO in Busan.
The University Innovation Support Project is a program that supports universities in improving their structure through autonomous innovation and nurturing future talents. Last year, the Ministry of Education provided a total of 795 billion KRW to 153 universities.
At the forum, innovation cases for future education from 29 universities will be presented, followed by keynote speeches and discussions on university innovation.

Lee Ju-ho, Deputy Prime Minister for Social Affairs and Minister of Education, stated, "We will enhance university autonomy in financial support projects and support the establishment of internal performance management systems going forward."
